Zero Tolerance Policy

Rural Health Group, Inc considers it a privilege to be a healthcare provider in the communities we serve. Every single patient, staff member, and visitor is very valuable to the work that we do every single day. Dignity, safety, and respect are core and fundamental to this work, and we aim to ensure that all who enter our doors are treated with the highest level of professionalism and customer service possible.  Unfortunately, due to a recent incident, we must now remind everyone that our organization has a zero tolerance for any type of violence on our grounds. Any verbal or physical behavior which causes our employees, other patients, and/or visitors to feel uncomfortable or threatened is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

Our Zero Tolerance policy includes verbal or physical altercations as well as aggression or threats made in person, over the telephone or in written communication. We consider threatening behavior to be:

  • The use of aggressive, threatening or abusive language (including raising of the voice, swearing and cursing, shouting & hate speech) which threatens or intimidates
  • Attempted or actual aggressive, threatening physical actions made towards anyone on the property
We apologize to the community for what you may have experienced due to the recent physical altercation that occurred where we exist to protect and serve. Please be assured that we are working aggressively to address this situation and ensure that all who are on our property feel safe.
