Galloway Speaks at 2024 Social Mission Conference

RHG Associate Medical Director Ayanna Galloway, RDME served on the ATSU Pathways to Equitable Community Health panel at the 2024 Social Mission Conference on April 8, 2024 in Durham, NC.  Ayanna’s presentation focused on the relationship between Rural Health Group and AT Still University and how the practical application of knowledge for students is taught.  Galloway also touched on how the students use what they learn to apply to their professions in rural environments.

Social Mission Alliance is a national movement, focused on health equity and training health professionals as agents of more equitable health care.  The mission goes beyond centuries-old conventions in health professions education to train providers prepared to build a system that is not only better, but fairer.
