Rural Health Group held a 50th anniversary celebration on June 10th, 2026. The event was attended by RHG leadership, health care professionals, local leaders, elected officials and supporters. The celebration shed light on the organization’s long history and how it will continue to serve rural communities for generations to come. Attending the celebration were U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis, U.S. Rep. Don Davis, state Rep. Rodney Pierce (D-27), Northampton County Commissioner Melvetta Broadnax Taylor, former Rural Health Group CEO Brian Harris and several board members, health care providers and community members.
