Women's Health Services
Rural Health Group is committed to the whole patient and the whole family. We are excited to have a women’s and family health office offering the following care:
Our services are important to continue the health and wellbeing of women. Well women exams to include pap smears and breast exams are helpful in the prevention and early detection of diseases.
Providers will discuss all available birth control options with the patient and assist in selecting the most appropriate method. They will also discuss safe sex and STD prevention at this visit.
Prenatal care can be important for the health of you and your baby. Providers can spot health problems early if OB care is started and maintained throughout a women’s pregnancy. Rural Health Group is focused on seeing pregnant women to help them take important steps to protect their infant and maintain a healthy pregnancy.
Women’s health during all stages of life is critical. Rural Health Group offers Hormone replacement/ Menopausal counseling which can assist in helping a woman experiencing menopause understand if it’s right for them. With a compassionate team of Providers, women entering menopause can be fully informed of options available to them.
Pelvic organ prolapse is possible after bearing children. We know that this can be a sensitive topic for many women. We offer the resources to be able to talk about this with your Provider and have measures to help with basic pelvic prolapse.
Many women suffer from menstruation irregularities and similar to our other services, we want women to not have to worry about this condition. Rural Health Group offers information and help for these irregularities and it’s something women should not have to go through when care if available.
Sexual dysfunction is also a topic not widely discussed, but feel assured, as a patient, our Providers are here to help with any questions or concerns around this.
For the new moms, breastfeeding can feel daunting and overwhelming. Our Providers take care in discussing, educating and supporting women in this decision.
Immunizations are an integral part in ensuring that patients have less risk of being affected by cancer through the HPV vaccine. Rural Health group not only administers these vaccines, but also educates the patient on the importance of getting it.
Rural Health Group sees the importance and offers education on STDs, STI testing, and prevention and safe sex practices.
As with all of our services and locations, Rural Health Group believes in the importance of treating the whole patient. Behavioral Health Services are offered throughout our organization at various offices. It’s important that all patients get the total care they need to help sustain a healthy lifestyle.
With a tenured medical staff, we are open to see patients at our Family & Women’s Health location:
