Well Child Checks
Our services are important to continue the health and wellbeing of every child. Well check visits are a yearly checkup that will record your child’s height, weight and other important information. At your well check visits, you will be able to discuss topics such as sleep, safety, childhood diseases and what to expect as your child grows, during those visits.

Sports/Camp Physicals
For the active child in your life, Rural Health Group does offer Sport/Camp Physicals. These physicals are important to identify any potential health problems or risks so they are not exacerbated. These screenings are a great opportunity to provide tips to prevent common potential injuries.

School Physicals
Whether it’s for pre K or Kindergarten, a school physical is important in assisting and identifying any chronic medical issues or conditions so that our staff is able navigate any ongoing medical needs. As your child grows, and goes to college, college physicals are important in creating a baseline for their student health record while away at school. This record is also important in ensuring a student is up to date on their vaccinations.

Surgical Preparation
If your child has a scheduled operation, it is important that your pediatrician conducts a physical exam that can include checking blood pressure, vital signs of the child, blood pressure, heart rate and breathing. These checks assess medical factors that could affect surgery timing and may identify any underlying conditions that may require evaluation before the surgery.

Sick Visits
Sick visits are not fun for any child, but are important in determining the illness or condition a child may be facing. When calling our pediatric office, we try to work in sick visits as soon as we can. Rural Health Group is committed to the wellbeing of your child and also offer the following testing: Strep, Flu, COVID, RSV.

Immunizations
Immunizations are an integral part in ensuring that children have less risk of being seriously ill from common diseases that may not have been treatable the past such as measles and whooping cough. These immunizations are critical in preventing the spread to future generations and ensure a child grows up healthy.

All our patients deserve compassionate top quality care with dignity regardless of the ability to pay for services. Our pediatric office is excited to offer special services to children and hope to see you visit our office soon.

The HEALOW Kids app allows you to connect with your child's pediatrician so you can review their health record, send and receive secure messages, and book appointments. It also allows you to record home health monitoring data (like growth, nutrition, and developmental milestones), and also has tools like the potty trainer and screen time timer. You will receive regular education on wellness and parenting as your child grows. The HEALOW Kids App can be downloaded from the Apple App store or the Google Play store.
